LIUNA PAC supports the advancement of the interests of LIUNA members, their families, the labor movement and all working people through contributions and expenditures in federal and state elections, and through other means calculated to accomplish those objectives. LIUNA PAC is national in scope and is not aligned with a particular political party or ideology.

WHY DO LABORERS NEED LIUNA PAC?

LIUNA PAC supports candidates who understand and support the needs of LIUNA members and all working families. Local Unions may not contribute to federal campaigns, however, Laborers can contribute to candidates through LIUNA PAC.

DON’T MEMBER DUES PAY FOR LIUNA PAC?

No. While part of a member’s union dues may be used to speak out about important issues, no union dues can be directly contributed to federal political campaigns. Only money donated through the LIUNA PAC check-off can be contributed to specific campaigns.

DOES THE PAC ONLY SUPPORT ONE POLITICAL PARTY?

No. LIUNA’s PAC contributes to Democrats, Republicans and Independents who support LIUNA’s national legislative agenda.

IS LIUNA PAC CONNECTED TO THE NATIONAL POSTAL MAIL HANDLERS’ UNION PAC?

Yes. LIUNA PAC is affiliated with the National Postal Mail Handlers Union PAC (NPMHU PAC) and other LIUNA federal PACs. The contributions of NPMHU PAC, LIUNA PAC and the other affiliated federal PACs in LIUNA are aggregated together for the purpose of federal election contribution limits. 

This website is not a solicitation to contribute to LIUNA PAC. Only LIUNA members, their families, and executive and administrative personnel of LIUNA affiliates may be solicited to contribute to LIUNA PAC. Contributions from any other individual will be refused or returned.
